About me
Through my years of working experience, I’ve gained self-confidence and the skill to maintain pressure outside and inside the working environment.
Have worked in health, gaming/gambling and IT services industries. Always in a phase to do my utmost best.
I am a Technical Support Engineer who combines technical expertise with a passion for selling educational and entertainment toys.
I am a self-motivated, self-driven, young professional with a passion for tech, currently holding a national diploma in Engineering Electrical Computer Systems from CPUT and several IT certifications. I have a strong background in software testing and software support. An adaptable person with experience working in different environments, namely the medical field, IT consultancy, gaming/wagering and IT services, with varying types of working methodologies, whether it be agile or waterfall.
Siyabonga Charles Xulu, who was born and brought up in Esikhawini Township, was born on February 19th. After matriculating in 2013, I went to Cape Town to study Computer Engineering at CPUT and graduated in April 2018. I have worked at the V&A Waterfront part-time job at NuMetro in 2016, and in 2017 started my career-related training.
What inspired me to be in the toys and games business is how things happen in the townships. A lot of kids like and enjoy having toys to play with and games, but they don’t have access to them. When I was in high school, we used to visit a friend of mine to play games, and you will find out there were ten of us taking turns to play.
Most of us around the hood did not have toys, decent educational and entertaining toys; we used to play with bricks, stones, and jumping ropes (only to find out this is where authentic artistry fermented). After realizing the opportunity while I was still studying in Cape Town, I chose to utilize it.
